ABOUT THE AUTHOR 

Ron was born in Iowa but left his home state for warmer climates in 1967. He had 2 years of flying experience and qualified for the Army flight training program. He found himself in warmer climates in Texas at Fort Wolters, In Alabama at Fort Rucker and Vietnam for a really warm experience.  Ron's flight class picture is on the Vietnam Helicopter Pilots Association website vhpa.org under class photos in Class 67-23 B-4.
 Ron spent two tours in Vietnam and figured the bad part of an Army flying career had to be over so he stayed for the whole 20 year option. After the Army he worked in the Financial Services business and raised a family. He currently lives in the Nashville area. Ron became a Christian at age 35 so his writing is creative to void profanity. The book can be read by any age group.
